Plastic pudding cups with cookie “dirt” and cute flower toppers make these flower pot pudding cups a fun, semi-homemade treat and craft. Text: “Flower Pot Pudding Cups.”.

Looking to add a dash of creativity and fun to your next gathering or crafting session? Semi-homemade flower pot pudding cups with pipe cleaner flowers are the perfect mix of delicious desserts and hands-on artistic flair.

Whether you’re planning a kid-friendly party, a spring celebration, or a fun afternoon activity, this project is sure to delight both kids and adults alike!

By combining the ease of store-bought ingredients with simple DIY craft supplies, you can create adorable, edible flower pots that double as whimsical table decorations.

This guide will take you through everything you need to know – from what ingredients and supplies to use, to step-by-step instructions for making your pudding cups bloom with pipe cleaner flowers.

Craft supplies for making semi-homemade pudding cups, including pink pipe cleaners, yellow pom-poms, neon green tape, plastic spoons, an orange hot glue gun, chocolate crumbs, and chocolate pudding cups on a wooden surface. Four white plastic spoons with their handles partially wrapped in bright yellow tape are arranged next to a roll of the same yellow tape on a wooden surface—perfect for serving your semi-homemade pudding cups or flower pot pudding treats. A hand holds a craft flower made of pink pipe cleaners forming petals and a yellow pom-pom center. White plastic spoons and semi-homemade pudding cups are blurred in the background. GluedToMyCraftsBlog.com is written at the bottom. Three plastic spoons decorated with pink pipe cleaners as petals and yellow pom-poms for centers, taped with yellow tape, make charming toppers for flower pot pudding cups on a wooden surface.

With a few supplies from your local market and some imagination, these simple snacks will show that you don’t need much time or money to create something special.

Snack Supplies:

To make these adorable flower pot pudding cups, you’ll need the following ingredients and supplies:

  • Chocolate Pudding Cups
  • Oreo Cookies
  • Plastic Baggie
  • Rolling Pin
  • Plastic Spoons
  • Green Washi Tape
  • Pink Pipe Cleaners
  • Yellow Pom Poms
  • Hot Glue Gun

Pro Tip: Get creative with colors and designs! Try different petal shapes or layer pipe cleaners for a multi-colored flower.

Directions:

Have everything ready? Time to get creative!

  • First you will want to make your decorative spoon “flowers.” I did this by first wrapping the handles of the plastic spoons with green washi tape and hot gluing a flower I made out of pipe cleaners and pom poms to it.
  • Now you will want to work on the pudding cups themselves. To do this, simply open all the pudding cups you will be making/serving. Set those aside.
  • Place your chocolate cookies in a plastic baggie and seal close. Take a rolling pin {or other kitchen utensil} and crush them till they look like dirt.
  • Now take a spoonful of crushed cookies and place them on top/inside the pudding cups.
  • To finish my Flower Pot Pudding Cups, simply place the decorated spoon into the cup.
  • Serve immediately or store in fridge until serving time. When ready to serve, arrange your flower pot pudding cups on a tray or table for display. You can even label some as “mini gardens” or add small name tags for a personalized touch.

Reasons to Love This Activity:

If you’re not already convinced, here’s why flower pot pudding cups are must-try treats:

Now aren’t those DIY flower spoons super cute? They really do add a special touch to this yummy treat! I just love how guests can get straight to eating with this idea, rather than scrambling to look for utensils. You can even change up the colors and/or designs of the flowers to really match the theme of your event.

Don’t forget that adding gummy worms in the pudding mix, is a nice touch for kids too!

So the next time you are heading to your local grocery store to pick up some supplies for your next spring get together or event – be sure to grab a few Snack Pack Puddings from the baking aisle, so you too can “sweeten up spring” with these Flower Pot Pudding Cups!
