“F” is for fun! Get creative and make your own craft stick fox this weekend. Just grab some colored craft sticks, glue and a little imagination, and you’ll be on your way!

"F" is for Craft Stick Fox - Letter Recognition Kid Craft Tutorial

Welcome to our blog where we share fun and creative ideas for kids! Today, we have a special project that will surely bring out the crafty side of your little ones. We all know how curious and playful foxes can be, with their vibrant orange fur and bushy tail.

In this post, we’ll show you how to make an adorable fox craft using simple materials that you probably already have at home. Not only is this activity entertaining, but it also promotes fine motor skills development and encourages imaginative play.

So get ready to unleash your inner artist with our “F” is for Fox craft idea!

"F" is for Craft Stick Fox

Don’t forget the FUN that comes with crafting! Create your own craft stick fox and share your masterpiece with us!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • Regular Popsicle Sticks
  • School Glue
  • Orange Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Orange Cardstock Paper
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • Small Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First glue your popsicle sticks together to look like an “F.” See my picture above for an example.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Repeat for each piece you want to make.
  • Now it’s time for the paint! Squirt some orange craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Paint your popsicle stick shape completely orange {or any other color you like for your fox!}
  • Set aside to allow it to dry completely.
  • Next grab your scissors and cardstock. Cut out a bushy tail, pointy ears, round nose and of course – a fun white beard for each fox.
  • To finish off your Craft Stick Fox – have children glue their cardstock pieces, along with two wiggle eyes, to their popsicle stick shape.
  • Then let it all sit aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
