“M” is for monster and this popsicle stick kid craft activity is the PERFECT way to reinforce that idea! Especially during the Halloween season!
Inspired by my son {I’m trying to step up his letter recognition} today I’m sharing another kid friendly activity that is SUPER simple for kids and adults of all ages to pull together to make their own one-of-a-kind monster pieces!!!
This popsicle stick monster craft idea has endless possibilities since you can have children decorate it ANY WAY THEY LIKE! And it’s just that – an “M” that we turned into a monster! Then decorate with various embellishments to really hit the idea on the nail! Super fun – right?!
So don’t be scared!!! Let’s grab those craft supplies and make up these adorable monster craft pieces with our children today!!!

PAIR YOUR CRAFT STICK MONSTERS WITH —> Paper Plate Monster
Craft Supplies:
- Popsicle Sticks {4 per monster craft}
- Various Colors of Craft Paint
- Paint Brushes
- Colored Cardstock Paper
- School Glue
- Basic Kid Craft Scissors
- Decorative Craft Eyes/Wiggle Eyes
- optional materials – glitter glue, rhinestones etc.
Directions:
- First glue your popsicle sticks together to look like an “M.”
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Repeat for each piece you want to make.
- Now it’s time for the paint! Paint your popsicle stick piece however you like!!!
- While children on working on the paint, go ahead and cut out other monster facial embellishments from the cardstock. Big eyes, teeth, hair – whatever you like!!!
- To finish off your Popsicle Stick Monster craft – have children glue on their cardstock pieces to the popsicle stick shape.
- Then add other embellishments you see fit before displaying proudly!!!
