Popsicle Stick Uncle Sam Craft Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 7 per uncle sam craft {affiliate link}
* School Glue
* Red Craft Paint
* White Craft Paint
* Blue Paint {affiliate link}
* Foam Paint Brushes
* Basic Craft Scissors
* White Cardstock
* Pink Cardstock {affiliate link}
* 2 Large Wiggle Eyes – 2 per uncle sam craft
* Pen or Marker
Directions:
* First assemble the base of your Uncle Sam by gluing your popsicle sticks together {6 next to each other, with one across in the center.}
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Next have your child paint the top half to look like Uncle Sam’s hat {see picture for example}
* Now grab your white cardstock and trace both of your child’s hands.
* Trim out the traced designs. Be sure to trim out a button nose from the pink cardstock, as well.
* To finish off the Popsicle Stick Uncle Sam craft, glue the handprints on the popsicle stick frame to look like a beard and glue the eyes/nose in place as well.
* Then display proudly for all to see! #gluedtomycrafts

Here is another fun themed kid craft – Paper Plate Uncle Sam! Simple have children paint a large paper plate with a khaki/skin tone paint color {or cover completely with tan tissue paper squares} and add a red/blue cardstock hat, along with some white cut outs of hands for the beard. Perfect for ALL your patriotic celebrations this summer!
