Handprint 4th of July Keepsake Printable For Kids

Get creative this 4th of July with your kids and create a special keepsake to remember the holiday. Learn how to make the perfect handprint craft for kids with Glued To My Crafts!

Craft Supplies:

  • Free Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Blue Cardstock Paper
  • Red Cardstock Paper
  • Pencil or Pen
  • Paper Craft Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First grab our FREE “red, white and blue” printable, listed above in the supply list.
  • Print it in color on a single sheet of white cardstock. You only need one print per keepsake craft.
  • Next, grab your blue cardstock, pencil and scissors.
  • Pick a hand and tell your child to lay it flat on the paper.
  • Trace around it with the pencil.
  • Go ahead and trim out the traced piece with the scissors.
  • Discard excess paper.
  • Now the fun part – adhere the blue handprint cutout to the center of the keepsake printable.
  • Go ahead and also cut out a simple, small heart shape from the red cardstock.
  • Adhere the heart piece to the center of the handprint.
  • Finally, add other embellishments you see fit {like some patriotic stickers} as well as having children sign their name somewhere on the print.
  • Then display/gift away your child’s “My Heart Beats True For The Red, White and Blue” print proudly!
