Taco Craft Made With Coffee Filters
It’s an easy-to-make craft that can provide lots of opportunities for creativity. Not only is it great entertainment, but it’s also educational and teaches them fine motor skills.
Craft Supplies:
- Unbleached Coffee Filters
- Green Cardstock Paper
- Red Cardstock Paper
- Yellow Cardstock Paper
- Tan Cardstock Paper
- Craft Scissors
- Stapler
- optional material – wiggle eyes & marker
Directions:
- First things first – grab one or two coffee filters and your stapler.
- Fold them in half to make the taco shell.
- Have your child stuff their taco shell with small, thin paper strips – green paper {lettuce} and red/tan/yellow tissue paper {tomatoes, cheese, ground beef}
- Once it’s stuffed, staple the “taco” shut.
- If desired – add a smiley face and wiggle eyes to the front.
- Then repeat for however many tacos you want.
- Now display them all provided for the dragons to enjoy!
