Card Supplies:

  • Brown Cupcake Liners – 1 per card
  • Pre-folded Cardstock Cards
  • Yellow Tissue Paper
  • Red Tissue Paper
  • Green Tissue Paper
  • Glue Stick
  • Black Marker
  • Small Wiggle Eyes
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First make your card and card front. I went with a 5×7 card. You just need to make sure your cupcake liner taco will fit to the front of the card.
  • Now you are ready for the “taco” part. Grab ONE tan cupcake liner and flatten/fold it in half. Set aside.
  • Grab your different colors of tissue paper.
  • Cut or tear a few small squares for the “inside” of the taco.
  • Glue them into the inside of the folded cupcake liner to look like lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. Trim up/add more as you see fit.
  • Next up – adhere the finished “taco” you just made, to the center of the card front.
  • Glue on some wiggle eyes and draw on a face with your markers to give it life.
  • Now grab your marker {or stickers} and write out “let’s TACO about it” or “let’s TACO how awesome you are!“
  • When done, set aside your masterpieces to let it dry completely before gifting them away!
