Potato Masher Stamped Christmas Ornament Craft For Kids

All you need is a few simple supplies and you can get started right away! Plus, we’ve got a free printable for you to help make things even easier. Just keep on scrolling for the full how-to instructions!

Craft Supplies:

  • Branch Printable – on our landing page
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Craft Paint
  • Potato Masher
  • Loose Craft Glitter
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • If you haven’t already – go ahead and print out our free printable, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You need one print per craft.
  • Depending on your printer settings, you “might” have to trim off the edges. Do this first before moving on.
  • Now squirt your various craft paints on the paper plate.
  • Have children dip one potato masher into the paint {smear it around} then stamp it in the center of their printed ornament design in the printable {just one time is needed!}
  • While the paint is still wet, go ahead and sprinkle loose craft glitter on top for a little added sparkle.
  • To finish off the Potato Masher Stamped Ornament craft, add any other embellishments you see fit.
  • Then set it all aside to let it dry completely, before displaying proudly!
