Craft Supplies:

  • Free Printable – ON OUR LANDING PAGE
  • Cardstock Paper {any color!}
  • Craft Paint {any color!}
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Wooden Clothespin
  • Large Sized Pom Pom
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Tan Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • School Glue

Directions:

  • First print the free blank cupcake template listed above in the supply list. My suggestion is on colored paper but feel free to change that up. You only need ONE print per gnome cupcake craft.
  • Next “pinch” your LARGE sized pom pom inside the clothespin. This is now your paint brush for the craft and how you will add the painted cupcake frosting on top.
  • Now squirt some craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Dip the pom pom paint brush in the craft paint, then on the printable, just above the cupcake liner.
  • Repeat under you have the desired “gnome beard frosting” look you want. You can make your the fluffy frosting as tall or as thin as you like!
  • To finish off the Pom Pom Gnome Cupcake kid craft, cut out a large triangle hat and OVAL nose out of your remaining pieces of paper.
  • Now go ahead and glue those to the decorate cupcake liner piece. Start off with the hat top and the nose in the center.
  • Then add anything else you see fit {like some craft glitter while the paint is still wet!}
  • When done crafting, allow it all to dry completely before you display it proudly for ALL to see!
  • BTW – if you don’t want to get messy with paint today, you can glue on cotton balls like we did for our unicorn cupcake tutorial!
