Sanderson Sisters Footprint Keepsake Idea For Kids

I’ve seen this painted footprint Sanderson Sisters artwork idea floating around on Pinterest for a few years now and today I wanted to share MY version of this particular Hocus Pocus craft {with a few free printables for you to use as well!}

If this is something you would like to recreate with your little crafty witch, then be sure to keep on scrolling for the TWO free provided files and a quick tutorial to get the magic going! The idea behind this very post is to “brew” some awesome craft time in your home during the month of October!

Bunch of Hocus Pocus Keepsake Idea

It’s a cute idea inspired by the classic movie! Grab the FREE printables and recreate our “Hocus Pocus Keepsake” idea within a few minutes!

Craft Supplies:

  • Witch Printables – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Crayons, Markers or Coloring Pencils
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first, if you haven’t already, download both of the FREE files {listed above in the supply list} on white cardstock paper.
  • Next up – the footprints! Squirt some paint on the paper plate and do THREE different colored footprint designs on the paper that says “It’s just a bunch of HOCUS POCUS!”
  • When done doing the painting step, go ahead and set aside the paper to let it dry a bit.
  • Now onto coloring! Grab your witch hat printable and choice of coloring utensil.
  • Color in THREE of witch hat designs {save the other for another tutorial coming to our website soon!}
  • When done coloring, trim them out.
  • To finish off your Footprint Halloween Witch Keepsake, glue a hat cutout to EACH painted design.
  • Follow that up with Halloween stickers and embellishments, to give each Sanderson sister her own look!
  • Then display your Footprint Sanderson Sisters masterpiece proudly for ALL to see!!
