Craft Supplies:

  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Free Black Cauldron Printable – Landing Page
  • Color Printer
  • Paper Craft Scissors
  • Purple or Gray Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue or Glue Stick
  • Colored Sidewalk Chalk
  • Baby Wipes
  • Halloween Bat Stickers

Directions:

  • First things first – grab the FREE Halloween cauldron printable, listed above in the supply list.
  • Go ahead and print it out on a single sheet of white cardstock. You only need ONE print per craft. Print as many as you like.
  • Now grab your paper craft scissors and cut out the cauldron shape in the printable.
  • Discard excess white paper.
  • Grab your dark colored cardstock paper and glue stick.
  • Glue the cauldron cutout to your choice of color in cardstock paper. You want the cauldron towards the bottom of the paper, leaving room for your witch’s brew above.
  • Now envision the steam and magic coming from the cauldron.
  • Take your various colors of chalk & make several lines coming from the cauldron design. Add as many or as little as you like.
  • When done adding the chalk, use baby wipes to clean off your fingers.
  • Next grab your bat stickers.
  • Place them in random places on top of the “chalk brew” design you just made.
  • Add any other embellishments you see fit {maybe some glitter glue or some other Halloween themed stickers.}
  • Then display your custom one-of-a-kind paper art witch’s brew piece proudly for all to see!
  • Don’t forget to share pictures of your crafty chalk art designs on your social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts
  • Pair your finished craft with our stained glass version!

Make It Your Own:

  • Did you know you can dip your chalk in water to make the colors more vibrant on your paper? Yup! Just set a small dish with tap water on the table, dip the chalk in it for a few seconds and then draw on the paper the same way as before.
