Today on Glued To My Crafts, I’m sharing some inspiration on how to make these Santa, Elf AND Reindeer Handprint Christmas Cards with your young child today and then have them in the mail tomorrow for those who live far away!
YES my dear crafty friends – these holiday cards are that EASY to make! Not to mention, these would be great as baby handprint Christmas card ideas, as well! Pretty much ANY size hand can make these – hint hint!
With that being said, not only are these THREE DIY cards super simple to assemble {even for a beginner crafter} but they are really inexpensive and have that handmade touch that everyone will love too!

Handprint Santa & Elf Cards
Looking for some easy and fun Christmas crafts for the kids to make? Glued To My Crafts has got you covered! Check out these adorable handprint Christmas cards that are perfect for kids of all ages.
Craft Supplies:
- Cardstock Paper {red, green and brown being important!}
- Scissors
- Pencil or Pen
- Adhesive
- Embellishments or Rhinestone Stickers
Directions:
- First trace your child’s hand on the green cardstock {elf} brown cardstock {reindeer} and/or red {Santa} cardstock paper.
- Trim out each handprint with scissors.
- Repeat for each card you want to create.
- Now grab your remaining cardstock and trim out the other features to give your pieces life {collar for the elf, antlers for the reindeer and a belt for the Santa}
- Once your child has all the pieces they like, have them glue everything to a cardstock card front.
- At this point, you can either add more customization or go straight to personalizing the inside so you can mail it right away!
- Don’t forget to add your child’s name and age on the card, so the receiver will always know when it was made!
