Craft Supplies:
- Popsicle Sticks {3 jumbo and 2 mini per corn}
- Small/Large Craft Buttons
- Tan Cardstock Paper
- Kid Friendly Craft Scissors
- School Glue
- Pencil
- Raffia Ribbon
Directions:
- First you will want to assemble the center part of your corn. Lay three jumbo popsicle sticks next to each other and glue two mini {one on top and one on bottom} to create a small fence.
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Repeat for each corn piece you are making today.
- Now it’s time for the buttons! Have children glue on their fall colored buttons to the newly made popsicle stick design. This will really give the look of the corn texture.
- Once done adding the various buttons, set aside the wood piece to let everything dry completely.
- While the craft buttons are drying in place, it’s time for the cardstock embellishment! Trace your child’s hand on the tan cardstock and trim out each piece with scissors.
- To finish off the Popsicle Stick Indian Corn Kid Craft – glue the cardstock piece to the back of popsicle stick shape and add a raffia bow to the front for a nice look.
- Then let it all dry completely before displaying proudly!
