Our latest kids craft tutorial is a HOOT – literally! We are taking some inexpensive supplies and making burlap leaf owls that are perfect to show off this fall season!
Owls Made Out of Leaves
I’ve mentioned it before on Glued To My Crafts but it’s worth repeating. Dollar Tree is one of my FAVORITE places to stock up on kid craft supplies {it’s a hoot every time I go!}
You seriously can’t beat the prices and sometimes you really find some real hidden gems in there.
So on that note, if you haven’t been to your local dollar store lately, you better start running {not walking} because the fall stuff is starting to roll out! They have some pretty adorable scarecrows, stuffed owls and of course – decorative plastic leaves that are PERFECT for kid crafts. Yes, you read that right – plastic leaves are the thing to stock up on right now when it comes to your kid friendly art projects!!!
Take for example today’s Burlap Leaf Owls craft post. Who knew you could take some basic leaf shapes and make some adorable {and completely customizable} owls out of them? Well now you know and the full tutorial can be below.
Happy crafting with your kids today, my friends!!! Don’t forget to share pictures of your owls made from burlap leaves on our Facebook page, for us to admire! #gluedtomycrafts
