Craft Supplies:

  • Fish Bowl Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Brown and Blue Crayon
  • Scissors
  • Colored Cardstock Paper
  • Decorative Plastic Leaves
  • Tape Runner or Glue Stick
  • Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First print the free provided printable {listed above} on white cardstock paper.
  • Once you have the printable printed, go ahead and grab your crayons.
  • Color in the bowl design however you like. I added brown sand and blue water to mine but feel free to switch it up for yours.
  • Once done coloring, grab your paper craft scissors and cut out the fish bowl shape.
  • Discard excess white paper.
  • Now grab TWO different colors of cardstock paper {in my case, a light shade of brown and orange}
  • Cut out a small rectangle piece for your fish bowl to sit on.
  • Adhere that to other piece of cardstock paper that is uncut. I cut out my rectangle from the light brown and adhered it to the orange to give the look of a shelf.
  • When ready, secure the cutout to the cardstock paper you just made.
  • Finally we are going to make a fish out of a leaf and start pulling the theme together!
  • Grab one decorative plastic leaf and the tape runner adhesive.
  • Run a few lines of tape on the back of your leaf and place it down in the center of your decorated fish bowl.
  • Now add your adhesive wiggle eye to the leaf, so your fish can see.
  • Follow that up by cutting out a small heart shaped “lips” for your fish and securing that to the leaf as well.
  • If desired, add other embellishments you see fit {like glitter and scrapbook stickers!}
  • Then display your leaf fish in fish bowl creation proudly for all to see!
  • Don’t forget to share pictures with us! #gluedtomycrafts
