Leaf Hedgehog Puppets Craft Idea

Special delivery from Glued To My Crafts! We are taking inexpensive materials from Dollar Tree and making these adorable Leaf Hedgehog Puppets come together within FIVE MINUTES!

Trust us, you don’t want to miss this autumn art project idea that is great for pretend play afterwards!

Leaf Hedgehog Puppets - Fall Kid Craft

Hedgehog Puppets Made From Burlap Leaves

Today’s post is a fun fall themed craft activity for kids to make right now! From the ease of the steps, to the fact that you can play with your leaf hedgehog puppet afterwards – parents are going to love it as much as kids do!

For this craft idea, all I did was take some really cheap, decorative leaves from the Dollar Tree store and used school glue to secure them to some jumbo popsicle sticks. From there, all you need to do is add some paper cutouts and some wiggle eyes to bring them to life! You can even step outside the box a little and embellish them to each one some festive personality!

Have no fear – a real hedgehog might be prickly in real life but these leaf friends from us are not! I’m sure you will have LOTS of smiles before, during and after you play with them! So whether you decide to do this as a fall activity or just to beat the boredom blues, I hope you enjoy making our Leaf Hedgehog Puppets, right along side with your crafty child!

Happy crafting, my dear friends and please don’t forget to share pictures of your hedgehog friends with us! A great place to share your images in on our Facebook page. It seriously makes my day to see them! Come share and find even more crafty inspiration, as well! #gluedtomycrafts
