Candy Corn Feathered Turkey Craft For Kids
Fall in love with today’s Thanksgiving turkey craft idea that is perfect for kids of all ages!
Made using a paper plate and some paper candy corn cutouts, this is a super easy craft idea that will have the entire family getting involved today.

Craft Supplies::
- Large Paper Plate {one per turkey craft}
- Brown Craft Paint
- Foam Paint Brush
- Free Candy Corn Printable – located on box.com
- White Cardstock Paper {two sheets per turkey craft}
- Color Printer
- Craft Scissors
- Crayons or Markers
- Hand-Held Office Stapler
- School Glue
- Cardstock Paper {brown, red & orange}
- Large Wiggle Eyes {two per turkey craft}
Directions:
- First things first – paint your large paper plate completely brown.
- When you are done painting, set aside the paper plate to let it dry completely.
- Next up – the candy corn wings. Go ahead and print our candy corn printable TWICE {two sheets} to have SIX candy corn feathers per turkey craft.
- Go ahead and color in the six candy corn designs with your crayons or markers.
- When done coloring, cut out each candy corn piece and discard the excess paper.
- With the remaining cardstock, cut out some a bowling pin shaped body, triangle beak, red waddle, two feet – whatever you want for the turkey to bring him to life.
- Now we are ready to start assembling! Start off by stapling the candy corn cutouts to the painted plate to make them look like feathers.
- Then add the bowling pin shaped body to the center.
- Finally, use the school glue to add the nose, eyes and waddle to the craft.
- Add any other embellishments you see fit and display it proudly for ALL to see!
