Paper Black Cat and Candy Corn - Kid Craft Paper Cat w/Candy Corn Craft

Get crafty this Halloween with your little one! Grab a few materials and make a unique black cat and paper plate candy corn craft within minutes!

Craft Supplies:

  • Cat Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Crayons
  • Scissors
  • Large Paper Plate
  • Adhesive
  • Wiggle Eyes

Directions:

  • First things first – print out the cat template listed above in the supply list.
  • Print it out on a single sheet of white cardstock. You need ONE cat printable per craft.
  • Now grab a black crayon and lightly {and I mean LIGHTLY} color the cat face & paws in the printable. I went with black but you can go with ANY color{s} you like.
  • Once done with the coloring, trim out each section in the printable and set them aside.
  • Discard excess paper.
  • Now grab one large paper plate and your scissors.
  • Cut the paper plate into a triangle shape.
  • Use the yellow and orange crayons to color it in & make it look like a candy corn piece. You want yellow on the bottom {the largest area} orange in the middle and white on the tip.
  • Now grab your glue stick and all the paper cat pieces.
  • Glue the cat face to the back of the decorated paper plate piece, so it looks like it’s peeking around it.
  • Now go ahead and glue the cat paws in place, on the front of the paper plate.
  • Finish that off by gluing on the wiggle eyes so your cat can see.
  • Finally – add other embellishments you see fit before displaying proudly for all to see!
  • Don’t forget to share pictures with us of your paper black cat and candy corn pieces with us, on your various social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts
