
Popsicle Stick Octopus – Kids Craft
Using simple materials you probably already have on hand, you and your child can pull this summer themed craft idea together within minutes! Then use your finished craft stick octopus as decor and/or a pretend piece that any little swimmer will love!

PAIR YOUR OCTOPUS POPSICLE STICK CRAFT WITH —> Swimming By – Fishbowl Keepsake Idea
Octopus Craft Supplies:
* Jumbo Popsicle Sticks {9 per octopus craft}
* Colorful Curling Ribbon
* Wiggle Eyes {2 per octopus craft}
* Craft Paint {any color you like!}
* Paint Brush
* Scissors
* Hot Glue Gun
* Hot Glue Gun Sticks
optional materials – glitter, rhinestones etc.
Directions:
* First assemble the base of your octopus by gluing your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {7 next to each and two across}
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Next {if you like} have children paint the front of their popsicle stick shape any color they desire!
* To finish off the Popsicle Stick Octopus craft, cut several strips of long curling ribbon.
* Glue those to the back of the popsicle stick design, so they flow down nicely and look like tentacles.
* Then glue down the two wiggle eyes and either decorate with glitter, rhinestones or even more craft paint before displaying proudly!!!
