Seashell Paper Unicorn Craft

Today’s Paper Seashell Unicorn kid craft idea is super simple to make and kids will LOVE the creativity that will be at their fingertips! Although we have listed a few steps below in our full tutorial, this paper seashell craft can be accomplished ANY way you see fit.
Whether you want to turn the decorated seashells into puppets or maybe a pretty banner – the choice is yours! I also highly encourage you to get the glitter glue and random embellishments out as well. Make those magical unicorns stand out from the crowd!

Get creative and make some magic with your little ones! This paper seashell unicorn craft is a great way to keep their imaginations running wild. Let’s see what you can come up with!
Craft Supplies:
- Free Seashell Printable – on our landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Color Printer
- Crayons, Pencils, Markers etc.
- Paper Craft Scissors
- Pink Cardstock Paper
- Glitter Cardstock Paper
- Adhesive
- Large Wiggle Eyes
- Tye-Dye Craft Yarn
- Embellishments
Directions:
- First things first – download our free seashell printable, listed above in the supply list.
- Next, go ahead and find it on your computer, right click and print the file on a single sheet of white cardstock. One print equals one unicorn craft.
- Now that you have the printable, go ahead and color in the seashell design, however you like {I used a light shade of tan for mine.}
- When done coloring in the seashell piece, use your craft scissors to trim it out from the paper.
- Discard excess paper.
- Now grab your remaining cardstock paper and scissors.
- Cut out a large triangle horn, petal shaped ears and oval nose for your unicorn.
- Set all the paper pieces aside when you are done.
- Now grab the craft yarn and the scissors again.
- Cut a handful of 4 inch pieces of yarn {maybe 10-20 strands depending on how full you want the hair to be.}
- Cut off another piece of yarn and tie it around the center of your yarn bunch. This will the unicorn’s hair.
- To finish off your Paper Seashell Unicorn, glue their cardstock pieces in place, as well stapling on the yarn hair to the top of the seashell design.
- Follow that up by gluing down the wiggle eyes as well.
- To finish it off, add the custom elements like lines of glitter glue and sequins.
- Then allow your piece to dry completely before you display your custom one-of-a-kind seashell unicorn head piece proudly for all to see!

Instructions
- First print out our provided printable, in color, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need one print per craft.
- Now that you have the printable, go ahead and color in the seashell design, however you like {I used a light shade of tan for mine.}
