Paper Seashell Craft For Kids
It seems only natural that now that we live in Tampa, Florida that I start sharing some inexpensive “seashell themed crafts” on the Glued To My Crafts blog!
So with all that being said – today I present to you our seashell owl tutorial that only requires cardstock paper, the seashell freebie you will find below, paper punches and choice of coloring material to complete. Really easy for parents to pull out and perfect for little crafters to display proudly on the fridge afterwards! I just hope I inspired you to give it a try today!

Children will have a blast developing their skills by cutting shapes and gluing the pieces together to make this seashell shaped owl come to life!
Craft Supplies:
- Free Seashell Printable – on our landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Color Printer
- Crayons, Pencils, Markers etc.
- Paper Craft Scissors
- Colored Cardstock Paper
- Adhesive
- Large Wiggle Eyes
- Paper Punches
- Embellishments
Directions:
- First things first – grab our free seashell printable, listed above in the supply list.
- Next, go ahead and find it on your computer, right click and print the file on a single sheet of white cardstock. One print equals one owl craft.
- Now that you have the printable, go ahead and color in the seashell design, however you like {I used a light shade of tan for mine.}
- When done coloring in the seashell piece, use your craft scissors to trim it out from the paper.
- Discard excess paper.
- Now grab your remaining cardstock paper and scissors.
- Cut/punch out large scallop eyes, a triangle nose and heart shaped feet.
- To finish off your Paper Seashell Owl, glue their cardstock pieces in place, on the seashell design.
- Use a marker to draw in pupils if need be on the eye cutouts.
- To finish it off, add the custom elements like lines of glitter glue and sequins.
- Then allow your piece to dry completely before you display your custom one-of-a-kind seashell owl piece proudly for all to see!

Instructions
- First print out our provided printable, in color, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You only need one print per craft.
- Next, go ahead and find it on your computer, right click and print the file on a single sheet of white cardstock. One print equals one owl craft. Print as many as you like but only use our file for personal use only please.
