Get ready to celebrate the red, white and blue season with a unique & memorable 4th of July keepsake idea! Create a festive “footprint firework” design on paper that will last long after the final fireworks are gone!
Craft Supplies:
- White Cardstock Paper
- 4th of July Keepsake Printable – on our landing page
- Washable Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Small Paper Plate
- Baby Wipes
- Glitter Glue
- Embellishments
Directions:
- First squirt some craft paint on a paper plate.
- Using the paint brush, paint the bottom of your child’s foot and press it in the center of your print out. This will be the body of the “firework.”
- Use baby wipes and a quick trip to the sink to clean off excess paint from their foot.
- To finish off the Footprint 4th of July Keepsake – have children cut out a medium sized triangular top for their firework and glue it down on the paper.
- Use the glitter glue for sparkles coming from the firework.
- Add on other festive embellishments around the painted design, to give it that patriotic look.
- Then gift/display proudly!!!
