Don’t be SLOW to recreate this Popsicle Stick Snails tutorial! These non-slimy critters are super easy to recreate with basic materials you probably already have on hand!

Continuing with the FUN spring theme on the Glued To My Crafts Blog, today I’m sharing our Popsicle Stick Snails Kid Craft idea!

These are the only slimy creepy-crawling critters I’ll allow in my home and they are pretty adorable if I do say so myself! With just simple supplies and a little creativity – you too can welcome these friendly creatures into your home too!

Spring is the perfect time to get crafty with the kids! This easy popsicle stick snail craft is super easy for little ones.

Craft Supplies:

  • Wooden Scoop Sticks
  • Mini Popsicle Sticks
  • School Glue
  • Small Wiggle Eyes
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Kid Friendly Craft Scissor
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • Pull out one scoop stick and five mini popsicle sticks per snail.
  • Glue the five mini popsicle sticks next to each other, on one end of the scoop stick. Repeat for each snail.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • While that is drying, go ahead and cut out some antennas from your cardstock.
  • To finish off the Popsicle Stick Snails, have children decorate the “shell” of the snail {where the five popsicle sticks are} as well as gluing on the eyes & antennas.
  • Then add anything else you like, set aside to let it dry completely and display proudly!!!

Here’s your checklist of supplies to bring this craft to life:

  • 5 Mini Popsicle Sticks
  • 1 Wood Scoop Stick
  • Craft Paint
  • Craft Sequins
  • 2 Wiggle Eyes
  • Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue
  • 1 Scissors
