Easter Crinkle Paper Crafts For Kids

Easter Crinkle Paper Crafts - Roundup Collection For Kids

Shredded Paper Craft Ideas

At Glued To My Crafts, I absolutely LOVE stepping outside the box. BIG TIME! It really makes my crafty heart happy and proud when I come up with something no one else has.

We also like taking ordinary items {like the green Easter grass you find this time of year} and turning them into the unexpected. Who knew you could take simple crinkled up paper and make a minion, polar bear, snowman or even alien friend? We really strive to make those crafty juices flow within you AND have you make a great piece to show off NO MATTER what time of year!

So whether in the classroom or just to do just at home, we hope our Crinkle Paper Crafts Roundup inspires you!

If it does – don’t forget to share pictures of what you create by sharing on our Facebook wall or tagging us on Instagram to see! #gluedtomycrafts

Crinkle Paper- Kid Craft Idea

Here we will share a few ideas that you can try out this Easter season and get your little ones excited about creating their own pieces of art!

The nice thing about this particular paper shred roundup, is that these ideas can be done ALL YEAR LONG, no matter what season we are in.

My goal is for you to not be discouraged by the label “Easter grass.” I want you to buy those colorful packs of shredded material today in abundance {maybe even hold out a little until they go on clearance!} and know that you won’t be wasting your money because you WILL be able to make an endless amount of these “sandwich baggie” crafts with it!

After all – all the crafty ideas listed below can go beyond the holiday season, religion or beliefs. And since you more than likely have sandwich bags and cardstock at your disposable all the time, you really have NO EXCUSE!

So my friends, all my latest ideas can be found below with a brief description under each. My hope is that my picture and simple words help along the way! Be sure to bookmark this VERY POST because as time goes on, I’ll be adding more ideas as I come up with them!

Anyways – it’s time to start. Happy crafting, my friends! And if any of our posts and pictures inspire you, be sure to share pictures on your various social media sites using the hashtag #gluedtomycrafts so we can see that inspiration come to life!

Crinkle Paper Minion - Kid Craft Idea

Take yellow and blue crinkle paper & make a minion!

Crinkle Paper Bunny - Toddler Craft

Bunnies are ICONIC with the spring season, so that’s what inspired this bunny craft. All you need is a little white crinkle paper for this one.

Crinkle Paper Bear - Kid Craft Idea

I think this next idea is BEARY CUTE! I used brown crinkle paper for this adorable friend. Wouldn’t this idea be cute with a paper bow in the corner for a “girly” bear friend?

Crinkle Paper and Baggie Penguin - Kid Craft Idea For Winter

These PENGUINS are so cute! Perfect for winter! In our tutorial I even included a printable template to start you even faster.

Crinkle Paper Polar Bear - Kid Craft Idea

The next idea is similar to the bear one you saw above but I used WHITE CRINKLE PAPER for a polar bear theme instead! I just love how easy it was to swap out the color to change it up.

Crinkle Paper Baby Chick - Kid Craft Idea

Baby chicks are another icon for spring. To make your own Easter chick, just grab some yellow Easter grass for the insides.

Crinkle Paper Jack-O-Lantern - Kid Craft Idea

Crinkle Paper Pumpkin – perfect for Halloween!

Crinkle Paper Snowman - Kid Craft Idea

Do you want to build a snowman but want to skip the cold? Grab some white crinkle paper, sandwich baggies and BUILD your own snowman but indoors instead, today!

Crinkle Paper Alien Monster - Kid Craft Idea

Whether you see a monster or alien in my picture above, I hope this crafty idea inspires you!

Since most children will more than likely have GREEN crinkle paper in their Easter baskets, I honestly stand my statement that you have NO EXCUSE not to recreate this one with your child!

Just grab various materials like large wiggle eyes, pom poms, pipe cleaners etc. so kids can make their alien & monster friend however THEY LIKE! This is probably the most customizable idea out of ALL of them in the roundup!

Crinkle Paper Black Cat - Kid Craft Idea

MEOW! Isn’t this black cat simply adorable?! Perfect for all year long or a Halloween theme – hint hint!

Crinkle Paper Puppy Dog - Kid Craft Idea

I mentioned cat but what about those who love dogs?! I got you covered with this idea!

The most magical of them ALL! Using colorful yarn and white crinkle paper, you too can make this mystical friend come to life within minutes as well!

Hey foxy friends – what do you think of this clever guy?! You can change this craft with either red or orange crinkle paper {although I’m personally really digging the red fox!}

Plastic Baggie & Crinkle Paper Apple - Kid Craft

This apple craft idea is perfect for back-to-school or a fall theme!

Crinkle Paper Witch - Halloween Kid Craft

We can’t forget Halloween in this roundup! Here is our WITCH FACE idea!

Crinkle Paper Reindeer - Christmas Kid Craft Idea

Stuffed Crinkle Paper Llama Craft Idea For Kids To Recreate!

There’s NO DRAMA with this LLAMA craft idea!

Crinkle Paper Scarecrow - Kid Craft Idea

My favorite of them all and the last one – SCARECROWS!

Crinkle Paper Sheep - Kid Craft Idea For Spring

Similar to our popcorn version, you can make SHEEP out of white crinkle paper!
