Wooden Scoop Stick Easter Bunnies - Kid Craft Idea

Spring brings fresh energy, warmer weather, and the perfect opportunity to create memorable Easter crafts with your children. These simple yet charming crafts provide hours of entertainment while helping kids express their artistic side.

On that note, today’s ice cream scoop Easter bunny tutorial offer an excellent way to celebrate the season while keeping little hands busy.

This craft tutorial requires minimal materials, making it accessible for families on any budget. The finished products double as decorations, gifts, or imaginative play toys that children can enjoy long after Easter has passed. Find everything you need to know below!

Wooden Scoop Stick Easter Bunnies - Kid Craft Idea

These wooden scoop stick Easter bunnies are the perfect craft idea for kids! They’re easy to make and so much fun to decorate.

Craft Supplies:

Before diving into the creative process, gather these essential materials:

  • Wooden Scoop Sticks – 1 per craft
  • White Craft Paint
  • Pink Tulip Puffy Paint
  • Black Tulip Puffy Paint
  • Small Paint Brush
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Scissors
  • School Glue
  • Small Craft Bows

Directions:

  • First have children paint their scoops completely white {one per bunny}
  • Now grab the two bottles of puffy paint and draw on some black eyes and a small pink nose, on one end of the white painted scoop stick.
  • When done painting, set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Next up – cut out some long {but adorable} bunny ears from the cardstock {two per bunny puppet.}
  • To finish off the Scoop Stick Bunnies, have children glue on their bunny ears to the back of the painted piece.
  • Follow that up with the decorative bowtie in the center.
  • Now show off those awesome new creations!!!
