Valentine Hot Air Balloon Craft Supplies:

* Tissue Paper {like red, pink or purple}
* Black Colored Cardstock Paper
* Various Sized Heart Stickers

optional supply – a printed 4×6″ picture of your child
The Simple Directions:
* First cut your tissue paper into small squares {let the kids practice their cutting skills}
* Take your paper plate and put a good amount of glue all over the remainder paper plate piece.
* Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate piece is completely covered.
* While they are working on that, cut out the other hot air balloon features from the cardstock. I did a basket with two strips for the rope that ties the basket to the balloon.
* To finish off the Valentine Hot Air Balloon kid craft – staple/glue the cardstock pieces in their designated spots on the paper plate {at this point you can add your child’s picture like I did in this particular craft}
* Go ahead and also cover the paper plate portion in heart stickers to really tie the theme together.
* Then display your Valentine’s Day paper plate hot air balloon proudly! {or add other embellishments to really make it your own before you do!}
