Paper Plate & Yarn Pumpkin – Super EASY Fall Kid Craft Idea
Who doesn’t LOVE pumpkins?! And just because Halloween is over for the season right now, DOESN’T mean the pumpkin-mania fun has to stop there! It can continue well on into Thanksgiving – hint hint!
If you are looking for some inspiration and a fun kid craft to keep the little ones busy this fall, look no further because today’s Paper Plate & Yarn Pumpkin Kid Craft is as EASY as it gets! This one-of-a-kind pumpkin art project idea is super easy to whip up and is absolutely perfect for younger children to recreate. If kids can hold a paint brush and drop some yarn on paper, they can make it!

Pumpkin Craft Supplies:
* Large Paper Plate – one per pumpkin craft
* Orange Craft Paint
* Foam Paint Brush
* Orange Yarn {affiliate link}
* School Glue
* Basic Craft Scissors
* Brown Cardstock
* Green Pipe Cleaners – one per pumpkin craft
Directions:
* First squirt some orange craft paint in the center of the paper plate.
* Hand over the paint brush and have children paint the entire paper plate, completely orange.
* When they are done painting, give them the glue bottle and have them drizzle a good amount of school glue ALL over the painted paper plate.
* Now grab your orange yarn and scissors.
* Cut off SEVERAL long pieces of the orange craft yarn and have children place it on the glue covered paper plate.
* Repeat until the paper plate is completely covered and looks like an orange pumpkin.
* To finish off the Paper Plate & Yarn Pumpkin, cut out a stem out of the brown cardstock and curl your green pipe cleaner with your fingers.
* Staple both pieces to the top of the decorated paper plate.
* Then set it aside and let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
