Craft Supplies:
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
- Black Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- School Glue
- Black/Gold Cardstock Paper
- Black Scrapbook Paper
- Craft Scissors
- Embellishments
Directions:
- Set out four popsicle sticks. Grab three and glue them together to look like a triangle.
- Now glue the forth one on one side of the triangle, to create the lip of the hat.
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- Once dry, go ahead and trace the popsicle stick design on some scrapbook paper, to make the inner part of the hat {trim it down slightly to be a smaller triangle than your popsicle sticks.}
- Set aside.
- Now it’s time for the painting! Have children paint the popsicle sticks completely black.
- Grab the scrapbook paper cutout and glue it onto the triangular design.
- To finish off the Popsicle Stick Witch Hat – cut a strip of ribbon to glue to the front {on the lip of the hat} as well as a “buckle” out of gold {or yellow} cardstock paper.
- Once everything is glued down, set aside to let it ALL dry completely before displaying proudly!
