  • Large GOLD Paper Plate {affiliate link}
  • Scissors
  • School Glue
  • White Tulip Puffy Paint {affiliate link}
  • Rhinestones
  • Loose Craft Glitter
  • Peppermint Candy Stickers {Hobby Lobby}
  • Brown Cardstock Paper

Directions:

  • First things first – cut your paper plate in half and then cut each half, in half again. This will make FOUR triangles for your tree.
  • Now grab your school glue and glue the paper plate triangles into a tree formation. Just place a little bit of glue on the back of each piece and layer them on top of each other. You do can do two triangle pieces, three, four etc. for your tree. You could even skip this step all together & have each triangle be it’s own tree.
  • Next grab your white puffy paint. This is the “frosting” for the tree. Place several squiggles of paint on the rim of each triangle piece.
  • Sprinkle loose craft glitter on top of the white paint.
  • Now for the “candy ornaments” in the craft. Glue rhinestones anywhere you like. Just a dab of glue and then drop the rhinestone on top.
  • At this point in time you should also add a “peppermint candy” on top for the “star” of the tree to really pull the theme together.
  • Finally, to finish off Sequined Gingerbread Holiday Tree craft, cut and staple/glue on the stump of the tree from brown cardstock paper.
  • Then let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
