Bring a touch of farm-fresh fun into your home with this easy paper scarecrow silhouette craft! Put your kids’ creativity to the test and watch their masterpiece come to life.
Whether you call it a sunrise or a sunset, this easy fall art project idea is super fun, rather easy and sure to be stunning as well! Read on to learn how YOU can recreate it, as well as grabbing the free printable as well! Happy crafting, my friends!
Craft Supplies:
- SCARECROW PRINTABLE – on our landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Colored Cardstock Paper
- School Glue
- Scissors
- Plastic Fork
- Brown Craft Paint
- Small Paper Plate
Directions:
- First download and print the FREE scarecrow template listed above, on a single piece of cardstock paper.
- Go ahead and use scissors to trim out the silhouette design. Discard excess paper.
- Now grab your various sheets of colored cardstock paper.
- Tear them and layer them on top of your remaining piece of white cardstock paper.
- Next grab the school glue and secure the colored pieces in place.
- Follow that up by gluing the scarecrow cutout on top.
- The final step is to “paint” some lines on the bottom of the piece, to represent the hay in the background.
- Once done decorating, set aside to let it all dry completely before displaying your scarecrow piece for all to see!
