Fork Painted Reindeer For Christmas

Let your child’s imagination run wild as they craft unique reindeer decorations with nothing but a a plastic fork, paper and some paint!

Craft Supplies:

  • Plastic Fork
  • Puffy BROWN Paint
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Red Cardstock Paper
  • Light Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • School Glue
  • Large Wiggle Eyes {two per reindeer craft}
  • optional – loose craft glitter

Directions:

  • First squirt some brown craft paint in the center of your purple cardstock. You don’t need a lot. Maybe the size of a quarter.
  • Have children take their fork – which is their “paint brush” and spread the paint ALL around to make the fur of their reindeer. Just make sure they keep the paint on the paper but they can move it anywhere and in any design/shape/angle they like.
  • If desired, at this point in time you can add a few sprinkles of glitter on top of the wet paint for added sparkle.
  • Once they are done creating the “fur” set it aside.
  • Grab the remaining cardstock and scissors.
  • Cut out a large red nose and two handprint cutouts for the antlers from the brown paper.
  • If desired, line the handprint cutouts with glue and glitter for extra sparkle on this holiday craft.
  • Finally – the last step of this fork painted Christmas reindeer craft. Glue your cardstock pieces and googly eyes to the painted piece of paper.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
