Craft Supplies:
- Black Tulip Brand Puffy Paint
- Gray Cardstock Paper
- Loose Craft Glitter
- White Coffee Filter – one per craft
- Stapler
- Scissors
- School Glue
- Black Sharpie Marker
Directions:
- First things first – fold your GRAY cardstock paper in half and open it back up again.
- Grab your Tulip puffy paint and squirt some black craft paint ON ONE SIDE before closing it up again.
- Once the paper is closed for the second time, gently take your hand and “caress” the paper so the black paint inside, makes a fun symmetrical print design on both sides of the paper {keep in mind – paint might ooze from the sides of the cardstock, so be sure to work in an area that can get dirty!}
- Now you are ready to open it back up and see the beginning of what your night scene will eventually become.
- Go ahead and sprinkle some loose craft glitter on top of the wet paint and set aside the paper for now.
- Next up, grab your coffee filters. You will want ONE coffee filter per ghost {I suggest doing two ghosts per night scene so it doesn’t become overcrowded on the paper.}
- Fold the coffee filter in half and then in half again, to make a triangle shape out of it.
- Use the stapler to staple twice and secure the edges so it won’t come apart.
- Now grab your scissors and cut a slight fringe on the edge of your triangle piece, to give the ghost some dimension. Fluff it up with your fingers.
- Finally – the last step in completing this ghosts at night craft is to glue down the coffee filter piece{s} on top of the paint splat design and draw on a face with the black marker.
- And that’s it! Once finished with your paint splat Halloween scene, set aside to let it dry completely, before displaying proudly!
