Craft Supplies:

  • KEEPSAKE PRINTABLE – on our landing page
  • Light Blue Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Black Scrapbook Paper
  • Orange Scrapbook Paper
  • Pencil or Pen
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first, if you haven’t already, download and print our free “chillin’ with my gnomies” file {listed above in the supply list} on a single sheet of light blue cardstock paper.
  • Next up – trace your child’s hand THREE times on your white cardstock paper.
  • When done tracing, trim out each piece with your paper scissors. Each one will be a beard for your gnomes.
  • Set those aside.
  • Now grab your black cardstock paper.
  • Cut out THREE snowman hats.
  • Cut out a small triangle shaped nose shape, for EACH gnome, from the orange colored cardstock.
  • Finally – cut out TWO stick pieces for the arms.
  • Now you are ready to assemble it all together.
  • Start off my gluing down the THREE white handprint cutouts, in a row, on the blue colored cardstock paper. You want the fingertips facing downward but make sure you DON’T cover up the printed words.
  • Follow up that step by gluing down the hats on the palms of the handprint cutouts.
  • Then glue down the carrot noses to complete each gnome.
  • Finally – glue the two branches on the sides of the keepsake.
  • To finish off your Paper Snowman Gnome Keepsake, add any other embellishments you see fit, to give it that holiday spin!
  • Then display your handprint winter gnome masterpiece proudly for ALL to see!!
