Out of this World Crinkle Paper Alien Craft For Kids!

Shredded Paper Alien Craft Idea

From last-minute inspiration to a fun idea just to pass some time this summer season, we’ve pulled together ANOTHER impressive craft idea using inexpensive crinkle paper and a simple, plastic sandwich lunch baggie!

This time we are taking you on an OUTER SPACE theme and making some adorable paper stuffed ALIEN friends! I’ve even included a free eyeball printable below, to get you started even FASTER! Just download, print and go!

This adorable {so not creepy} alien character will take your child’s craft experience to a whole new level. With just a few inexpensive materials from Dollar Tree, they are going to stuff their baggie, decorate the outside and then make him come to life, right before YOUR eyes!

Out of this World Crinkle Paper Alien Craft For Kids!

Come on little aliens, it’s time to get crafty! Today we are showing you how to make an adorable out of this world crinkle paper alien friend.

This is a great kid craft idea that is perfect for all ages and can be customized however you want. So what are you waiting for? Get started now!

Craft Supplies:

  • Sandwich Baggie
  • Shredded Crinkle Paper
  • Eyeball Printable
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Color Printer
  • Kid Friendly Scissors
  • Tape Runner Adhesive
  • Hand-Held Office Stapler
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Black Sharpie Marker

Directions:

  • First things first – grab ONE sandwich baggie and your choice of colored crinkle paper.
  • Open up the baggie – nice and wide!
  • Stuff the sandwich baggie with crinkle paper, until it’s nice and full.
  • Carefully remove some air from the bag and seal it off at the top.
  • Set it aside till later.
  • If you haven’t already, download and print out the FREE eyeball printable listed above in the supply list. You only need one print per craft.
  • Pick one of the eyeballs in the printable and cut it out.
  • Set aside the printable to use for a later craft {like our paper plate monster tutorial!}
  • Now grab your pipe cleaner, stuffed baggie and stapler.
  • Fold the pipe cleaner in half and twist it to make antennas.
  • Go ahead and staple it to the stuffed baggie from earlier.
  • To finish off the Plastic Baggie and Crinkle Paper Alien craft, you are going to use the tape runner adhesive to adhere the paper eyeball you cut out earlier, onto the stuffed bag. Right in the center.
  • Follow that up by taking the black Sharpie marker and drawing on a smile right underneath.
  • Add any other embellishments you see fit {maybe a small bow or a few stickers!}
  • Then display your stuffed alien monster friend made out of crinkle paper for ALL to see and don’t forget to share a picture with us on your social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts

This crinkle paper alien is a great craft idea for kids! It's simple to make and can be customized to look however you want.

Instructions

  • Open up the baggie - nice and wide!
  • Stuff the sandwich baggie with crinkle paper, until it's nice and full.
