Any way you slice it, I sure hope you love this latest best dad card craft idea from Glued To My Crafts!

We are taking some simple red thumbprints and turning them into “pepperoni hearts” that are the star of these pizza themed Father’s Day cards!

This latest and greatest paper card tutorial is for the PIZZA LOVERS in your house. When I first envisioned this idea, I instantly thought of a pizza chain gift card being paired with it or maybe even a GRAND pizza night that you would host for good ole’ dad during the Father’s Day weekend.

With the free card file provided by us below, all your child needs to do is add a “thumbprint pepperoni heart” to the center of each pizza slice card design and then add their decorated paper pieces to some simple cardstock paper cards. That’s it! This can be completed within a matter of minutes. Easy peasy, just how we like it around here!!!

Our punny Father’s Day Pizza Slice idea is the EASIEST handmade card craft for kids to make and it’s oh so cute, as well! I know you are going to love it as much as we do!

Show Dad you care this Father’s Day with a personalized pizza card craft that’s fun to make!

Craft Supplies:

  • Pizza Card Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Paper Trimmer or Scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Colored Cardstock Cards
  • Washable Red Ink Pad
  • Baby Wipes
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first – access the freebie link listed above in the supply list.
  • Print out the pizza themed template, in color, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. One printable makes FOUR cards at a time.
  • Now use a paper trimmer {or scissors} to trim out each section and make FOUR cards total.
  • Adhere each cut out piece to a single cardstock card front.
  • Next open up your red ink pad.
  • Have children place their thumb on the ink pad, then in the center of each pizza design, TWICE, to make a heart shape.
  • Repeat the thumbprint step on EACH Father’s Day card.
  • Use baby wipes to remove excess ink off of fingers before washing hands completely at the sink.
  • Once done, they can add other embellishments they see fit, before they write a sweet message in the inside.
  • Then gift each card to someone special on Father’s Day!

Directions:
