These beautiful pieces would make for gorgeous wall décor for a Valentine’s Day pizza party!

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Craft Foam Hearts
  • Yellow Tissue Paper
  • Red Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Heart Stickers

Directions:

  • You will want ONE craft foam heart shape per pizza. First have children paint their red “tomato sauce” in the center of their craft foam heart. Remind them to leave some “crust” exposed. Repeat for each craft you want to make.
  • Next {working faster} have children tear small pieces of yellow “cheese” tissue paper and place it on top of the wet red paint so it sticks and dries in place. Have them put as much “cheese” as they like on top. If desired, you can get some school glue out for this step.
  • To finish off your Craft Foam Heart Pizza, have children add “pepperoni” red heart stickers on top of the “cheese covered” craft foam piece. Then finish off with other embellishments they see fit {maybe some other favorite pizza toppings like green “bell pepper” rhinestones or “black olive” glitter}
  • Once completely done, set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
  • Don’t forget to share pictures of your heart valentine pizza with us on your social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts
