Bubble Wrap Rainy Day Craft Supplies:
- Free Owl w/Umbrella Template {download HERE}
- Colored Printer
- White Cardstock {two sheets per craft – one for the printable, one for the rainy scene}
- Scissors
- Large Paper Plate
- Blue Craft Paint {two-three different shades}
- Bubble Wrap
- Glue Stick
- optional – Glitter, sequins, markers etc.
Directions:
- First download and print the FREE template above. You will want one “owl holding an umbrella” printable per craft.
- Next grab your scissors. Trim out the rectangle piece in the printable, with the owl holding the umbrella, inside. Discard excess paper. Set aside your rectangle piece until the next step is completed.
- Now grab your second piece of white cardstock, paper plate, bue craft paint and bubble wrap.
- Squirt some paint on your paper plate and press the bubble wrap in it {maybe even squish it around a bit so the bubble wrap is completely covered in paint} Now take the bubble wrap and press/stamp it several times on the white cardstock, to create a rainy day scene. Repeat until you have a look you like.
- To finish off the Bubble Wrap Rainy Day craft, use your glue stick to put some glue on the back of the owl piece you cut out and press it to the decorated white cardstock piece. Then set aside to let it all dry completely, before displaying proudly!
