Apple Craft Idea Made From Popsicle Sticks

With just a few inexpensive materials like jumbo popsicle sticks, cardstock, and craft paint, you and your little ones can create unique and playful fall decorations. Perfect for pretend play or to add a festive touch to your home!

Popsicle Stick Apple Friends - Kid Craft

Keep the kids entertained and their creative juices flowing with this easy and fun apple popsicle stick craft! It’s sure to bring a smile to their faces, plus they can show off their artwork when it’s done.

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 9 per craft
  • School Glue
  • Red or Green Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Scissors
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • Green Cardstock Paper
  • Tulip Puffy Paint {pink/black}

Directions:

  • First assemble the base of your apple by gluing your popsicle sticks together to look like a fence {7 next to each and two across}
  • Set aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each apple you want to make.
  • Next have children paint the front of their popsicle stick shapes completely red or green. Set aside.
  • Next cut out a green leaf and brown stem from your cardstock.
  • Glue those to the front of the popsicle stick design in their designated spot.
  • Finish off by grabbing your puffy paint and drawing on a face with pink/black.
  • Then let it all dry completely before displaying/playing with proudly!!!
