Today’s heart shaped Valentine’s Day angel craft tutorial is not only adorable but also easy for little hands to create. It’s the perfect activity to get into the spirit of love and show appreciation for loved ones.

Plus, it makes for a great decoration that can be displayed all year round. So gather your supplies and get ready to spread some love with this heavenly craft idea!

Heart Shaped Valentine's Day Angel Craft

This heart shaped angel is a fun kid craft for all ages! With simple materials and easy-to-follow instructions, your little angels will be creating their own angels in no time.

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Craft Foam Hearts
  • Colored Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Pipe Cleaner
  • School Glue
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first – have children cut out a large circular head {and some hair} from their sheets of colored cardstock paper.
  • Adhere the hair to the circle piece and use the markers to draw on facial features afterwards.
  • Next up, have children trace and trim out TWO handprint cutouts for the angel’s wings.
  • Go ahead and help them staple/glue those finished cardstock pieces to the back a single craft foam heart, along with head piece to the front.
  • Finish off the Valentine Heart Angel with your choice of other fun embellishments, as well as stapling the pipe cleaner bent into a halo shape, onto the head of the angel.
  • Then set aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
