The Basic Directions:
* First squirt some craft paint on a paper plate.
* Have children press their thumb in the paint, then press it down on the plastic ornament.
* Repeat until you have a look you like.
* Clean fingers with baby wipes and a trip to the sink.
* Add embellishments to really give it that festive flair! The most important thing to remember is to have fun with it. It doesn’t need to be perfect 🙂
The Details For Each Design:
* Thumbprint Christmas Tree Ornament – use green craft paint. Do thumbprints in a shape of a triangle. Once done, paint on a tree stump at the bottom and glue on sequins for ornaments.
* Thumbprint Reindeer Ornament – use brown craft paint. For this one, you only need TWO thumbprints. one for the body and one for the head. Once the thumbprints are done, paint on antlers and glue on wiggle eyes w/a red sequin nose to give it life!
* Handprint Snowman Family Ornament – use white craft paint and your pointer fingers of EACH family member to make the snowman. Decorate with your paint markers.

You can use a hot glue gun or super glue to add them on (adults only should do this step though!) Otherwise, school glue should work for kids as well
