Craft Supplies:
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
- School Glue
- 5 Foam Pumpkin Stickers
- 5 Mini Clothespins
- Blue Cardstock Paper
- Yellow Cardstock Paper
- White Cardstock Paper
- Craft Scissors
- Black Marker
Directions:
- First glue your popsicle stick together to create the base of the craft. Be sure to leave some space between the popsicle stick pieces so it’s looks like a picket fence.
- Set aside to let it dry completely.
- While drying, grab your cardstock and black marker.
- Trace/trim out your child’s handprint to create a body for cat.
- With the remaining cardstock, cut out other embellishments to give him life. Set all aside.
- Now grab your mini clothespins and foam pumpkin stickers.
- Go ahead and place the stickers on the clothespins to create the “five little pumpkins” that will sit on top of the fence.
- Use your black marker to give each pumpkin a customized look {psst – if you don’t have stickers, cut out your own from craft foam and attach with glue!}
- To finish the FIVE LITTLE PUMPKINS SITTING ON A GATE craft, have children “pinch” their pumpkins to the fence piece and glue your handprint cat to the front.
- At this time you can also add other embellishments you see fit.
- Then let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
