Have some fun with your kiddos this Thanksgiving season and make a keepsake craft they can treasure forever! Our Handprint Turkey Poem Keepsake is an easy and creative craft that both you and your kids will love.

Craft Supplies:

  • Turkey Poem Printable
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Brown Craft Paint
  • Large, Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Orange Sharpie Marker
  • School Glue
  • Large Wiggle Eye

Directions:

  • First print the free turkey poem template printable, listed above in the supply list.
  • Grab the brown craft paint.
  • Paint your child’s hand completely brown and press it in the center of the printable.
  • Now grab some embellishments and give the turkey life!
  • Add a wiggle eye on the thumb, draw on a beak/some feet and then add some glitter to the fingertip “feathers.”
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
