Craft Supplies:

Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – 2 per craft
Dark Blue Craft Paint
Blue Pipe Cleaners
Paint Brush
Small Paper Plate
Basic School Glue
Dark Blue Cardstock Paper
Yellow Cardstock Paper
White Cardstock Paper
Craft Scissors
Black Sharpie Marker

Directions:

First glue your two jumbo popsicle sticks together to look like a cross. This will be the arms and body of cat.
Set aside to let it dry completely.
Next is the painting step. Just have children paint the front of their popsicle stick design completely blue.
While they are working on that – grab the cardstock and your scissors.
Go ahead and cut out a head, along with features to give him life.
To finish off the Popsicle Stick Cat Puppet – glue the cardstock paper pieces in place and add the pipe cleaner tail to the center.
Then set it aside to let it dry completely before displaying and/or playing with proudly!!!
