With just a few simple supplies and a little bit of imagination, you can create these delightful Flat Clothespin Leprechauns. Not only will everyone have lots of fun putting them together but they also make great decorations that showcase creativity and love!
Craft Supplies:
- Wood Flat Clothespins
- Green Sharpie Marker
- Orange Sharpie Marker
- Black Sharpie Marker
- Black Cardstock Paper
- Gold Cardstock Paper
- Thick School Glue
- Paper Craft Scissors
Directions:
- First the fun part! Have children draw {or paint} their wooden piece however they like. We went with a green body in the center, finished off with black boots on the tips and orange beards in the center.
- While children are working on that – cut out a simple black hat from the cardstock paper and a belt from the gold.
- To finish off the Clothespin Leprechaun – simply glue the paper hat to the wooden clothespin, as well as the belt to the center.
- Then add other embellishments you see fit {maybe some glitter or small stickers!}
- To display, you can add magnets to the back, stick it in a flower pot or hot glue some string for easy hanging!
