With a few simple ingredients like paint, glue and of course popsicle sticks, you’ll be ready to create this special little abode fit for St. Patrick’s Day.

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • School Glue
  • Green Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Green Scrapbook Paper
  • Gold Cardstock Paper
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • Brown Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Paper Craft Scissors
  • St. Patrick’s Day Stickers

Directions:

  • First things first – grab your THREE jumbo popsicle sticks and glue them together in a simple triangle formation.
  • Set it aside to allow it to dry a bit. Repeat for each leprechaun house craft you want to create today.
  • When dry enough to touch, grab your popsicle stick shape, craft paint, paper plate and paint brush.
  • Squirt some green craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Use the paint brush to paint one side of the popsicle stick triangle shape completely.
  • Again, set it aside to allow it to dry completely.
  • Now grab your sheets of cardstock and scissors.
  • Cut out a large triangle from your green scrapbook paper or colored cardstock, that will fit inside the painted popsicle stick shape.
  • Out of the black cardstock, cut out a small leprechaun hat for the roof.
  • Out of the brown cardstock, cut out a door and a rectangle piece for the chimney.
  • Out of the white cardstock, cut out two circular windows.
  • Out of the gold glitter cardstock, cut out a “band” for the leprechaun hat.
  • Use the black Sharpie marker to give your paper pieces some dimension {like a door knob and window lines}
  • When ready – it’s time to assemble! Grab all your paper pieces, popsicle stick shape and school glue.
  • Start off my gluing the triangle paper piece to the back of the painted popsicle stick shape.
  • Follow that up with the “hat roof” on the top, front area of the popsicle stick shape.
  • Go ahead and add the window, door and chimney pieces.
  • Finally – add the St. Patrick’s Day stickers to the popsicle stick leprechaun house shape {like a few shamrocks and a rainbow coming from the chimney} to tie it all together.
  • Now allow it to dry completely before you display your craft stick leprechaun house creation proudly in your home!
