Let’s go team! Have some fun with the kids this weekend and make a paper plate baseball craft that pairs along perfectly with a Pete The Cat book!
Baseball Craft Made From Paper
Everybody play BALL!!!
Although I’m personally not a big fan of baseball – I am however a BIG fan of today’s super simple Paper Plate Baseball craft idea!
Paired with one of my son’s new favorite books {Pete The Cat : Play Ball! by James Dean} it’s the perfect excuse to knock some story time and craft time right out of the ball park!
Pete the Cat is ready to play baseball! Pete’s team, the Rocks, is playing the Rolls. But when the game doesn’t go Pete’s way, what will Pete do?
So what are you waiting for? Be a good sport and grab the supplies listed below so you can get to work on this “strike out” craft today! Don’t forget to read the book in honor of your “groovy” creation and be sure to find the perfect spot to show it off too!
Happy crafting {and reading} with your child today!!!

- While they are working on that, cut out some stripes from the red cardstock paper, for the iconic red laces/stitching on the baseball.
- To finish off the Paper Plate Baseball kids craft – simple glue the cardstock paper pieces on the paper plate.
