PAIR YOUR CRAFT WITH —> Handprint Chicken
Looking for a fun chicken craft idea for kids? This paper plate and clothespin chicken is perfect for preschoolers and toddlers!
Craft Supplies:
- Large or Small Paper Plate
- White Tissue Paper
- Yellow Cardstock Paper
- Black Cardstock Paper
- Wooden Clothespins
- Red Craft Paint Pen
- School Glue
- Craft Scissors
- Hand-Held Stapler
Directions:
- First cut your white tissue paper into small squares {let the kids practice their cutting skills}
- Take your paper plate and put a good amount of glue all over it.
- Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
- While they are working on that, cut out some chicken facial features from the cardstock. Think eyes, beak etc.
- Go ahead and also use the paint pen to paint the four clothespins completely red.
- To finish off the chicken paper plate kid craft idea – staple/glue the cardstock pieces in their designated spots on the paper plate, as well as “pinching” the clothespins to the paper plate to represent some feathers and waddle.
- Then display proudly! {or add other embellishments to really make it your own!}

Instructions
