Craft Supplies:
- Large Paper Plate
- Gray Tissue Paper
- Gray Cardstock Paper
- White Cardstock Paper
- Black Cardstock paper
- Stapler
- Craft Scissors
- School Glue
- Large Wiggle Eyes
Directions:
- First cut your gray tissue paper into small squares {let the kids practice their cutting skills!}
- Set those aside.
- Next take your paper plate and put a good amount of glue all over it.
- Have children place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered.
- While they are working on that, cut out the other elephant features from the cardstock. Think large ears, a tail, legs and of course – a large trunk!
- To finish off the Paper Plate Elephant – staple/glue on the cardstock paper pieces in their designated spots, as well as other embellishments you see fit {as well as the wiggle eye so your elephant friend can see!}
- Then allow it to dry completely before you display it proudly for everyone to admire!
