Flowers Made From Plastic Forks

Since we are in full spring mode on Glued To My Crafts, it’s time for another kid friendly craft that is perfect to celebrate the upcoming change in season.

Not only are these Plastic Fork Spring Flowers really simple for you to do with your child BUT it’s also pretty inexpensive and makes for adorable home decor as well.

So don’t delay – grab those simple craft supplies with your child today! Then carve some time out of your afternoon to make these beautiful flowers to display proudly in your home or perhaps even gift them to some special friends as a nice surprise! Plastic Fork Spring Flowers - Kid Craft Plastic Fork Spring Flowers - Kid Craft Plastic Fork Spring Flowers - Kid Craft

These easy spring flowers are made from plastic forks and colorful craft paint. They’re perfect for a classroom craft or home décor project with the kids!

Craft Supplies:

  • Plastic Forks
  • Craft Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Paper Plate
  • Green Craft Felt or Cardstock Paper
  • Basic Craft Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun

Directions:

  • The fun part – painting. No real rules on how you make your plastic fork flowers come to life! The larger part of the fork is the bud of the flower, while the longer part is the stem.
  • Once done, set your painted forks aside to let them dry completely.
  • Now grab your green craft paper {or felt} and get your hot glue gun hot & ready.
  • Cut out some leaves and glue them to the “stem” of your flowers.
  • At this point in time you can either go straight to displaying as is OR add other embellishments {like glitter, rhinestones etc} to really make them your own!!!
  • Don’t forget to share pictures with us on your social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts
