Halloween Beaker Craft Idea For October

Who doesn’t love playing scientist? More importantly – who doesn’t love being a “mad scientist” on the eve of Halloween?! Doesn’t that sound like fun?!

With today’s simple Popsicle Stick Science Beaker craft tutorial, you and your child can play “pretend” as you mix up and create some one-of-a-kind magical potion pieces that any scientist would be proud of! All you need is wooden craft sticks, paper and a little craft imagination to BREW it up! I’ve laid it out super simple in the full tutorial below!

Popsicle Stick Halloween Beaker - Kid Craft Idea For October

Get spooky this Halloween with the perfect craft for kids! You’ll love how easy it is to make this adorable beaker using just popsicle sticks and a few extra crafting supplies.

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
  • Silver Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • School Glue
  • Gray Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Cardstock Paper {your choice of color!}
  • Basic Craft Scissors
  • Skull & Bones Paper Punch

Directions:

  • First things first – glue your three popsicle sticks together to look like a triangle.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Once dry, go ahead and trace the popsicle stick design on some colored cardstock paper, to make the potion/inner part of the beaker {trim it down slightly to be a smaller triangle than your popsicle sticks}
  • Set aside.
  • Now it’s time for the painting! Have children paint the popsicle sticks completely silver.
  • Grab the cardstock paper cutout and glue it onto the triangular design.
  • To finish off the Popsicle Stick Halloween Beaker – cut a slight lip out of the gray cardstock and glue it to the top point of the popsicle stick beaker.
  • Then punch out a skull & bones shape from the white cardstock and glue that to the inside of the beaker.
  • Now display proudly for all to see!
